RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024: Application Process

Here are some simple and easy steps that you have to follow while apply online for the post;

• First visit the official website of the Indian Railway Recruitment Board. 
• There you will find an option to “Apply online” and click on it. 
• Click on the form, fill all the details that have been asked in the respective form.
• Scan and Upload all the necessary documents. (Identity card, Passport size photograph, signature and educational certificate as per requirements). 
• Pay the examination fee by using the appropriate payment method.
• Review the application form before submitting it.
• Take print out of the form for future reference. 

RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024: Application Fee

Application fees for candidates of different categories as:

• General / OBC / EWS : 500/-
• SC / ST / PH : 250/-
• All Category Female : 250/-

After Appearing the Stage I Exam, candidates will able to get their refund back;

• UR/OBC/EWS Fee Refund : 400/-
• SC / ST / PH / Female Refund : 250/-

RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

The selection process for the post of railway department includes the following stages;

• Stage I Computer-Based Test (CBT)
• Stage II Computer-Based Test (CBT)
• Skill Test/Typing Test (where applicable)
• Document Verification

After competing in the two stages, The selected candidates have to further qualify Document verification and medical examination stage to be selected for the following post.

RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024: Exam pattern

CBT 1

The first stage is Computer Based Test 1, consisting of a total of 100 marks with the time duration of 90 minutes;

• 40 marks for General Awareness, 
• 30 marks for Mathematics, and 
• 30 marks for General Intelligence and Reasoning. 

After completing the stage 1, Candidates will be able to compete for Stage 2-

CBT 2

CBT 2 will also be of 120 marks also with the time duration of 90 minutes with;

• 50 marks allocated to General Awareness, 
• 35 marks to Mathematics, and 
• 35 marks to General Intelligence and Reasoning. 

Candidates after clearing  CBT 2 have to qualify a typing skill test for the following positions including Account Clerk Cum Typist and Junior Clerk Cum Typist.

Note: There is the provision of negative marking of 1/3 mark for the wrong answers.
