Maiya Samman Yojana 2024: Objectives
The main objective of the Scheme is to provide women with financial and moral support. That’s why Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, a day before Raksha Bandhan in Pakur district of the state, through using DBT transferred the first installment of one thousand rupees each to the bank accounts of 57 thousand one hundred twenty women beneficiaries through DBT.
The main Highlight of the scheme said by the Chief Minister is, “Women in between the age limit of 21 to 50 years will be provided with financial assistance from the Government with Rs1000 per month, a total 12000 each year. He further adds, “before 31st August, one thousand will transfer to the beneficiary and from September the amount will be transferred to the beneficiary account on the 15th of every month. Jharkhand government to benefit a total of 48 lakhs women Statewide annually.
Mr Hemant Soren also instructed the beneficiaries to receive the financial assistance they will be informed via SMS, also he specified the need for awareness messages to protect beneficiaries from cyber fraud.
Through mukhyamantri Maiya Saman Yojana government wants to achieve equality and Justice in the society with several key objectives such as;

The first installment was given on scheme in August 2024 and overseen by Chief Minister Hemant Soren and State Women and Child Development Minister Baby Devi.
