ITBP Constable Driver Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

The Selection process for the recruitment of ITBP (Indo Tibetan Border Police Force) constable driver includes; 

• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Physical Standard Test (PST)
• Written Test

• Practical (Skill) Test
• Detailed Document Verification (DME) / Review Medical Examination (RME)

Height Bar Test:

In the first stage, candidates will have to go through with the stage of height bar test. 

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

After qualifying HBT, Candidates will be selected for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) events which are originally qualifying in nature. 

• Race: 1.6 Kms Race within 7.30 minutes

• Long Jump: 11 Feet (03 Chances)

• High Jump: 31½ Feet (03 Chances)

Physical Standard Test (PST):

After qualifying PET Candidates will have to go through the Physical Standard Test. Physical Standards (Height, Chest and Weight) for Constable Driver will be measured as per the following parameters:

Height:

• Gen/SC/OBC Category: 170 Cms
• ST Category: 162.5 Cms
• ST Category (North-Eastern States): 160 Cms
• Garwalies, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras etc categories: 165 Cms
• Candidates from North-Eastern States: 162.5 Cms

Chest:

• Gen/SC/OBC Category: 80-85 Cms
• ST Category: 76-81 Cms
• ST Category (North-Eastern States): 76-81 Cms
• Garwalies, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras etc categories: 78-83 Cms
• Candidates from North-Eastern States: 77-82 Cms

Weight:

Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.

Written Examination:

Then there will be a written exam stage that candidates have to pass by maximum marks; 

Written Exam Syllabus/ Pattern for ITBP Constable Driver;

• The question paper will be given to candidates with 02 Hours maximum time duration. 
• The question paper will consist of 100 OMR, objective type questions (01 mark each). 
• The written exam Questions will be of 10th standard.
• English and Hindi both languages will be available to candidates to attempt paper in the language they prefer.

The Question Paper will comprise of questions on:

• General Knowledge: 10 Questions (10 Marks)
• Mathematics: 10 Questions (10 Marks)
• Hindi: 10 Questions (10 Marks)
• English: 10 Questions (10 Marks)
• Trade Related: 60 Questions (60 Marks)

Cut off marks for qualifying in written exam:

• SC/ST/OBC – 33% Marks
• Gen/ Ex-Servicemen – 35% Marks

Practical (Skill) Test:
