CBSE CTET December 2024: Being a teacher is one of the most amazing and joyous jobs in the world. Recently, The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has relased Central Teacher Eligibility Test CTET December 2024.

Basically Central Board of Education conduct this CTET examination to ensure the quality and aptitude of the knowledge of the candidate and to make sure that the standard of education will maintain in the future. Aims to improve the education and knowledge level in the upcoming youth. 

The interested candidates can apply online in between the time period of 17 September 2024 to 16 October 2024. CBSE CTET December 2024: Important Dates

  • Application Begin from: 17/09/2024
  • Last Date for Registration is: 16/10/2024
  • Last Date Fee Payment is: 16/10/2024
  • CTET Exam will be conduct on:  01 December 2024
  • Admit Card will be Available on the date: Before Exam
  • Answer Key will be Available on the date: After Exam
  • Result will be Declared on: Notified Soon. 

The CTET exam will be conducted on 1 December 2024. The CTET Paper-II (TGT) will be held on 1st December 2024 in the morning shift in between the time limit of 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon, the paper one will be held on 1 December 2024 in the evening shift in between the time limit of 02:30 pm to 05:00 pm.

CBSE CTET December 2024: Eligibility Criteria

There are some eligibility criteria fixed by the CBSE for the recruitment of CTET post such as;

Primary Stage (Class 1 to 5)-

  • Candidates must 12th Passed with at least 50% marks And passed/appearing in final year In 2- year D.EL.ED
  • OR 12th Passed with 45% marks and passed/appearing in final year In 2- year D.EL.ED as per NCTE 2002 Norms
  • OR 12th Passed with 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 4- year B.El.Ed
  • OR 12th Passed with 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 2- year D.EL.ED (Special Education)
  • OR Graduation with 50% Marks and 1 Year B.Ed Examination. 

Elementary Stage (Class 6 to 8)-

  • Candidates must have a Graduation Degree And Passed/Appearing in final year of 2-year D.EL.ED.
  • OR Graduation Degree with 50% marks and Passed/Appearing in 1-year B.Ed
  • Graduation with 45% marks and passed/appearing in 1-year B.Ed , in accordance with the NCTE Norms
  • OR 12th Passed with 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 4- year B.El.Ed.
  • OR 12th Passed with 50% marks and passed/appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
  • OR Graduation with 50% marks and passed/appearing in 1-year B.Ed. / (B.Ed Special Education). 

CTET post will be applicable over All India. 

CBSE CTET December 2024: Age Limit

  • Minimum Age required for candidates is: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age required for candidates is: N/A
  • There are no provision for the seat reservations for candidates from reserved categories (Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/Other Backward Class and PwD). Only there are provided with 5% relaxation in the qualifying marks for the CTET Exam.

  • There you have to fill all your required detailed that has been asked in the application form. 
  • Scan and collect all the required documents. 
  • Review the form once again and if there is any mistake correct it before submitting the form. 
  • Pay the application fee through concerned payment method. 
  • Take print out for future reference.

CBSE CTET December 2024: Application Fee

Application fee for Different categories candidates as per follows;

For Single Paper :

  • General / OBC / EWS: 1000/-
  • SC / ST / PH : 500/-

For Both Paper Primary / Junior :

  • General / OBC / EWS: 1200/-
  • SC / ST / PH : 600/-

Candidates can Pay the Examination Fee by using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or many more. 

CBSE CTET December 2024: Exam Pattern

The exam structure of CTET test includes two papers; CTET paper 1 and CTET paper 2.

Paper-I will be for a person who wants to recruit for the posts for classes I to V.

Paper II will be for a person who wants to recruit for the posts for classes VI to VIII.

Note: A person who wants to recruit for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both papers (Paper I and Paper II).

Must remember that Paper includes from Mathematics & Science Question paper includes 30 MCQs each of 60 Marks Or from Social Studies/Social Science question paper includes 60 MCQs for 60 Marks (for Social Studies/Social Science teacher). There is no provision of negative marking in the examination. 

CBSE CTET December 2024: Syllabus Paper 1 & 2

The CTET 2024 Syllabus for paper 1 and 2 includes;

CTET Paper 1 Subjects includes: Child Development and Pedagogy (CDP), Language I (compulsory), Language II (compulsory), Subject concerned Pedagogy, Mathematics and Subject concerned Pedagogy, Environmental Studies and Subject concerned Pedagogy.

CTET Paper 2 Subjects includes: Child Development and Pedagogy (CDP), Language I (compulsory), Language II (compulsory), Subject concerned Pedagogy, Mathematics & Science and Subject concerned Pedagogy OR Social Science and Subject concerned Pedagogy.
